Volunteers receive accommodation during their stay and are provided with two meals on each working day. The living arrangements allow participants to experience everyday life in Cusco while becoming part of the local community.
The closest airport is Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ). Once a volunteer placement has been confirmed, full arrival details and directions to the school are provided.
The programme operates with planned volunteer intake periods and offers a limited number of spaces every two months. Recruitment generally takes place at the end and beginning of each month, although availability may vary throughout the year.
School Volunteering in Peru: What Else
This opportunity is intended for volunteers who are fully prepared to commit to a minimum stay of one month. Due to the nature of the programme, the school is unable to accept participants who are unsure about their travel schedule or length of stay. Those still organising their plans may prefer to explore shorter volunteer opportunities.
