Live in Greece: Tasks & Roles

Volunteers contribute 33 hours per week, supporting a range of hostel operations. Tasks may include general cleaning of rooms and shared spaces, doing laundry, folding linens, or helping at the reception desk or bar, depending on current needs. The ideal person for this role is outgoing and fluent in English, with a knack for making guests feel welcome. Confidence in sharing local recommendations, directions, and creating a warm atmosphere is highly valued. Prior experience isn’t essential, but a sociable nature and team spirit are key.

Live in Greece: Living & Getting There

Accommodation is provided in a shared ground-floor dormitory with four beds and an en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is included daily, and volunteers are welcome to make full use of the hostel’s facilities, such as Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen, and laundry. Additional perks include discounts at the bar and the freedom to explore the city during free time. The closest airport is Thessaloniki Airport (SKG). Upon arrival, the X1 bus will take you directly to the city centre—get off at Aristotelous stop. From there, you can either walk 20 minutes to Sachtouri 28 Street or take bus No. 28 to the Palia Lahanagora stop, which is closest to the hostel.
