Come Build a School for Children in Laos
Come Build a School for Children in Laos. On a regular base we receive fund to build schools. We facilitate all construction projects and monitor all finished programs afterwards. Labor is done by volunteers, both local and foreign. It is possible to help the local volunteers because many helping hands makes the work lighter for everybody. The local volunteers do not speak English but love to communicate with foreigners creating a nice working atmosphere.

** Volunteers need to understand that they are there to support projects and not the other way around. Volunteers need to adapt to workstyle different to which they are used to. You always make a change, even if it does not feel like that.
** Guests and volunteers agree to follow the laws, the policies of the community in which they volunteer, and/or the rules of the Fairstay, failure to do so will result in the termination of your stay and forfeiture of all accommodation fees.
** For organizational reasons, we ask our volunteers to have all meals (B/L/S) at FruitFriends during workdays (mo-fr). In the past, we had volunteers being late for their duties. We also want our volunteers to be a close team and this is easier having your meals together. Organizing volunteer work is also difficult not having your meals with us. This is also applicable for short-term volunteers.
